This artifact represents my involvement with our students'
parents at our 2007-2008 open house. Our department worked in collaboration with the ESOL bilingual counselor and the
media specialists to help parents of our ESOL students to access the students' Edline accounts. During this meeting,
I was able to use my Spanish fluency to communicate with the parents about how to sign up on Edline and the importance
of monitoring their child's grades.
